Those are some interesting results since 3.5.0-19 has the upstream 3.5.7 updates. Can you also test the following two kernels:

v3.5.0-18: https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/3.5.0-18.29
v3.5.0-22: https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/3.5.0-22.34

Look at the links under "Builds" for your specific arch.

This test will see if an Ubuntu Sauce package fixes this bug. The Ubuntu 3.5.0-18.29 kernel has the upstream 3.5.6 updates, so it will confirm what you see in 3.5.0-19.
