I appear to have the same issue. Connecting to WPA2-enterprise network fails on ubuntu 12.04 but succeeds on 11.10 using identical settings.
System:
Dell Latitutude E5500
Internal Wireless card
Settings:
WPA2-enterprise
PEAP
no certificate (ignored certificate warning)
DHCP assigned address and DNS servers
IPV4 system
Connection works in Windows 7 and Ubuntu 11.10; fails in ubuntu 12.04 64 bit.
