FYI --- using command line to eject the disk/partiton do work, see http://askubuntu.com/questions/422481/prevent-usb-drives-from-auto-remounting-after-remove

On the other hand, I see surprising that this bug is marked Medium. For non-tech-savy users, can ends in unclean disconnect and even data-loss. Should be marked as Critical.
