Jörg didn't mention that libscg is also involved involved in this setup,
and the libscg code for Linux is different from the libscg code path for
other operating systems such as Solaris.

If SchilliX works, the bug might as still be in libscg, and booting
other operating systems cannot distinguish this from a kernel bug.
