Whereas I "upgraded" to 8.10, and my video card stopped working, my keyboard started locking up whenever I change the LCD brightness, arrow keys stopped working when logged in over SSH, ...
I was really excited when I installed Ubuntu and had a Linux distro that actually worked without a lot of headaches and manual effort, but I've been increasingly disappointed by subsequent releases. I don't understand why there's such an emphasis on releasing on a specific date without fixing known bugs.
