I think you keep missing my point. Lets say that two people apply for a
job at a bank. One is dressed in a professional suit, and is well
groomed. The other is in black jeans and a black T-shirt, has a Mohawk
and piercings. The perception will be that the later of the two is
totally unsuited for bank work. This may not at all be the case, but it
doesn't matter if he never gets an interview. This is our perception
problem. If everyone thinks Linux is broke (regardless of if it is or
not) no one will try it. If they never try it, they will never find out
if it is better.

Good. Holding your breath rarely helps anything. But also keep looking
for issues, and don't wait on the bug people. That can take a while.

OK. Let me know how that works for you. Seeing as how I have to
support everything else out there, I can tell you that "every dog has
his fleas." These are all just tools and use the one that works for
you. But you can actually fix problems in Linux. Try that with Vista.
