There is a situation in which one artist may appear several times under one alphabet letter due to this bug.

For example, I have two VA movie soundtrack releases in my collection by Thomas Newman. One of them has a track by Fred Astaire, and the other has a track by Gene Austin.

Both of these tracks have 'Artistsort' and 'Albumartistsort' tags set to "Newman, Thomas". But they still make "Thomas Newman" entry with all the releases appear twice under letter "A".
