Equalizer broken in Hardy

- Hardy (up to date)

- Equalizer is broken with Pulseaudio installed.

I dont know when you switch dev platform to also include Hardy challengies ?

An equalizer in Exaile 0.2.11 works great for me in Hardy (up-to-date).

The only problem I've experienced with Exaile in Hardy so far is that I wasn't able to install Exaile 0.2.12 b on Hardy.

I'm not sure I should report a new bug because I used the package for Gusty from the exaile.org website?

When the installation crashed I installed Exaile 0.2.11 via Synaptic and everything works great so far.

I have similar problem after updateing to new Gstreamer 0.10.17 and exaile 0.2.12b on Gentoo. Now I just found that both 0.2.12b and 0.2.11.1 are broken. Must be gst...

Can you explain what you meant by broken? I'm aware that the equalizer might have very little effect on the actual sound output (due to bug 193929), but if it's something else I need to look into it.

Well, I am unsure how the equalizer functionality should work with
Pulseaudio, Alsa and gstreamer. Also the other bug about equalizer.

I am lost in the knowledge and we have a messy situation and
perhaps a developer which knows more where to ask can fix this.

I don‘t know what is happending. Sliders just does not change the sound any more...

I downgraded gstreamer to last "stable"... it is the same...

Then I'm pretty sure it's because of the new gst equalizer. I'm closing this in favour of bug 193929.
