Comment 75 for bug 460483

Well, good news everyone. Turns out there were some significant upgrades to evolution from lucid to maverick. Because of that I've been able to implement all of the features I had working in lucid *entirely* within the evolution-indicator package without any sort of hackery. Hopefully this makes the patch more palatable since I haven't changed any of the evolution source code. I've uploaded the results on my ppa. The relevent commands are

sudo apt-add-repository ppa:goehle/goehle-ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade

You can set options in the configuration tab of the evolution-indicator plugin, including having evolution run at startup and not showing the window the first time evolution is started.
