ACQ Brief Record form allows creation of empty records

As it stands, there are no required fields in the ACQ brief record form (Acquisitions -> New Brief Record) , so it's possible to create completely empty brief records. At minimum, one field (e.g. title) should be required.

Additional issues with Acq Brief record.

Records created via Acq Brief Record interface are created without an 008

unable to edit fields in the fixed field grid
choosing "Add/Replace 008" doesn't work (no 008 field is added)

As a workaround, to add the 008 field you must.
- Open the Flat Text Editor
- Add =008
- Uncheck "Flat Text Editor" so you are on the regular MARC edit interface
- Right Click on 008 -> Choose Add/Replace 008
- Save Record
- You can now edit the 008 in the fixed field grid.

Confirmed this is still possible and an issue in 3.8 (dojo version).

Also - when adding a brief record by creating a purchase order, if some element is skipped - such as Price, which is needed to encumber funds - it cannot be added once the line item is created.

It would be helpful to be able to edit the brief record within the PO interface.

You can edit a brief record through a PO by clicking on the title of the line item.

Any changes you make won't affect the record in the catalogue if the bibs and items have already been loaded so it's best to only edit these records before the bibs and items are loaded.
