Commit r19332 addresses a browsing problem in trunk; I will backport it to the 2.0 series for 2.0.1 release.

If by "list" you are referring to the "Manage Authorities" interface, that had been intentional; I was using the "starts with" browse approach. However, I can understand wanting to have context for your search term even in the "Manage Authorities" interface and have consequently changed that to use the browse method (which places the closest match for the search term in the middle of the results for page 0). I will backport this for 2.0.1 as well.
