Patron Account Doesn't Update To Show Amount When Item Requiring Deposit Checked Out

Bug Description
3.11.1 and 3.13
When you check out an item that requires a deposit you get a pop up saying ITEM_DEPOSIT_
The patron account doesn't automatically to show that the patron now owes the deposit. The amount displayed on the tab for the Bills tab doesn't get updated and neither does the Fines Owed line in the patron summary.
If you go into the bills tab the bill for the deposit is there.
If you refresh the browser tab the amounts update as expected.
