The Exclude Electronic Resources check box cannot be selected in the staff catalogue. It just won't let you check the box.

Limit to Available, Group Formats/Editions, and Results from All Libraries can be selected as usual.

I added Exclude Electronic Resources through my Search Preferences. It didn't work so I logged out and back in. I also tried clearing my cache, still didn't work.

I don't get any console errors.

I tested this on both our local 3.11.1 test server as well as EOLI's community server.
