Bug Description

User story: as a course reserves admin, after I un-archive a course that was taught in a previous year, I can see that all the materials from the previous reading list are again visible and attached to the course.

One possible implementation:
1) When a course is archived, all the materials remain attached to the course. These materials get a new archived flag, so that they don't appear in the OPAC or staff catalog. However, they still appear in the course page in the course materials module. Any temporary item attributes get reverted to their original values.
2) When the course is unarchived, the archived flag is removed from the course materials. The staff member is prompted to add any necessary temporary item attributes to the newly unarchived materials.

Two special cases to consider: if items get checked out or lost/missing between when the course is archived and unarchived. Should they get added to the course as well, even though they aren't in hand?

The proposed implementation (#1), indicates that the new archived flag would prevent items from displaying in the catalog. I assume that if an item is part of the library's collection, it should continue to dsplay in the catalog--but not be associated with any course(s)?

I think that when a course is unarchived, the user should be alerted if any items associated with the course are lost, missing or have been deleted. Staff can then determine whether these items should be replaced with other copies or removed from the course.
