Bug Description

Using Evergreen 3.7.2. I have found the Angular Staff Catalog keyword search allows/creates duplicate saved Search Templates.

Create a search template and save it with a chosen name.

Change the template in some way and save it with the same name. I'd expect Evergreen to update the existing template to the new search parameters. Instead it creates a second, duplicate template with the same name. If it must create a second template, I'd have expected it to rename it [i.e., Template Name (2)].

Both identically named templates are selectable in the list of Search Templates, with the search parameters that were chosen at the time they were saved. If you leave them both there, you don't know which one to choose when you want to use the template.

To delete the unwanted template, you select it from the list and choose delete selected. Evergreen then deletes both templates with that name, and you will need to recreate and save your template again.

It seems like the best option would be for Evergreen to prompt that there is already a template with that name and ask if you want to overwrite it with the new template or if you want to rename it as something else.
