Oh, and as a followup to the exploded dates; Extending and changing SR was intentionally made fairly easy provided you're /very/ comfortable with SQL and fairly comfortable editing the IDL. So a pre-transformed Days Ago field could be added locally if there is need.

I also expect that once this sees use in more places that some new patterns will emerge and there will almost certainly be followup LPs to add / change fields. The best thing about SR reports is that if the IDL definition changes they don't have to be re-written from scratch like existing IDL-based reports!

One good followup bug for those institutions with a lot of local SQL / IDL knowledge would be auto-generating the list of report types from the IDL so you could simply add a new SR IDL class, restart the opensrf.settings service and have it appear in the interface. (Currently the 5 existing report types are hard-coded in the Angular client.)
