Master as of 3.7
Derived columns are not able to be efficiently searched, so filtering & sorting are not currently available on these kinds of columns. This came out of testing Angular Acq Administration (bug 1904244) but would be a helpful general enhancement for Angular grids.
Examples of these columns from Acq:
* Funds view: Combined Balance, Spent Balance, Total Spent, Total Encumbered, Total Allocated
* Fund Details view (Debit): Line Item, Purchase Order, Invoice

Noting that the Dojo interface allowed you to sort and filter by these columns, so this is actually a regression for these interfaces.
