Comment 70 for bug 1888723

Just noting that I'm also still seeing the behavior Galen describes in Comment 43: If a user changes multiple fields in the item, but only clicks Apply only one of those fields, the item will be saved with only the single Applied edit, and no warning about the loss of the other edits that were not Applied.

If there's still room for discussion re: the requirement to click Apply for every field change, I think it's worth exploring eliminating the extra Apply click where possible. Approaches (some previously mentioned) could be:

- Remove the field by field Apply requirement when editing a single item.
- Add an 'Apply All' button which would Apply all pending changes.
- Change the 'Save' button to 'Apply and Save', which would Apply all pending changes and Save the item.
