Bug Description
It would be very helpful for catalogers to make the index selection for the numeric search sticky. If a cataloger is searching a list of OCLC numbers selecting the OCLC index has to be done every time. Last used template is sticky, looking for same thing to be done here.
Currently release 3.0.13; testing 3.2.8

It is fixed in 3.2.3. I think this is a duplicate but the one I found is older and doesn't have the fix --- https:/
