Fulfill hold when item checked out to a family member

Considering stats, holds checked out to a family member should be considered fulfilled, not cancelled.

Possible to add an option on the checkout popup to allow staff to choose to fulfill the hold?

The corresponding library setting may provide the available options: fulfill the hold; cancel the hold; keep the hold as is.

Marking Confirmed. It would be useful to have an option to mark the hold as Fulfilled rather than Cancelled for statistical purposes.

Also wanted to mention that when the Cancel option is chosen at the time the held item is checked out to a different patron, the hold is cancelled as follows.

- cancel_cause is set to 5, "Staff Forced"
- cancel_note is also added to the hold which reads: "Item checked out by other patron".

I'm not sure if a library setting is needed, or just an additional option on the popup to Fulfill.

+1 from Bibiomation. I think most libraries would want to fulfill the hold, but I'm not opposed to retaining the option to cancel (as in, having 3 options in the pop up window instead of 2).
