Bug Description

tested in Evergreen 3.0.4

While in the Item status screen on the xul client you can Select the Action for Catalogers -> Add to Record Bucket and the bib record of the item would be added to a record bucket. This function is missing from the web client Item Status screen.

A work around is to click on the title link which will bring up the Record Summary screen and use the Other Action -> Add to bucket function.

This workaround is serviceable, but how does one, from Item Status, add multiple titles to a Record Bucket.

Until this bug is addressed, you can't add multiple titles to a record bucket.

Kathy,
Thank you. I must say this turns this bug from an minor annoyance into kind of a big deal. I am hoping we can get its Important bumped up.

I've pushed a branch here: https://git.evergreen-ils.org/?p=working/Evergreen.git;a=shortlog;h=refs/heads/user/khuckins/lp1760193-add-record-bucket-item-status

It does a slight refactor of the existing Add Copy to Bucket functionality, allowing an optional parameter to define the bucket type(defaulting to 'copy').

I would sign off on this, except for some ambiguity. The link says "Add Item Records to bucket", to me that would be the same as "Add Items to Bucket". If it would say "Add Title Records to Bucket" or "Add Titles to Bucket" that would make a little more since.

I agree with Lynn that the wording is confusing.

The wording of the actions on the Detail View are:

- Add Items to Bucket
- Add Items to Record Bucket

And the wording of the actions on the List View are:
- Add Items to Bucket
- Add Item Records to Bucket

For clarity, my preference for them both (on both Detail and List view) would be:

- Add to Item Bucket
- Add to Record Bucket

(I also confirm Lynn's testing that the action does work properly and can now add multiple selected items from the List View to a record bucket at once.)

The rewording looks good, Kyle - could you please rebase against master so that the 1857910 and 1654529 patches aren't in this branch?

Good catch, those shouldn't have made it in there. I've rebased the branch and removed those patches
