Our circ policies are mostly decided by the checkout library and the checkout library is responsible for overdue and lost issues. Patrons are supposed to contact the checkout library for renewal.
We also have libraries having floating collection. The items often have different owning and circ libraries.
Display call number's owning library is not desirable in both scenarios. A library setting controlling the display is required.
