When the setting to delete the call number when the last copy is deleted on, it is being observed. But that means when the dialog says "Will delete 1 item and 0 call numbers," that in fact, is not true. If there is only one item attached to the call number, 1 item and 1 call number will be deleted. The fact that they are being deleted in two separate actions is irrelevant and invisible to the user. They are both occurring as a result of the delete items request, so this dialog is highly misleading and confusing.

For the user it would be better to have different dialog boxes for Delete Items and Delete Items and Call Numbers. It would make more sense for the Delete Items dialog not to address call numbers at all. Since the user used delete items, the dialog could just say "Permanently delete selected items from the catalog? "1 item(s) will be deleted"

Providing no information about the call number would be better than providing inaccurate information about the call number.
