I can't speak to whether NOBLE is tracking long-running queries and whether there are any for the one-hit search examples, but, when testing on my VM a couple of weeks ago, I was logging long-running queries. No long-running queries were showing in the logs when I experienced the hung MR searches. The one-hit searches may show something different.
I'm adding links to a couple of other log entries from sample metarecord searches.
The log from a metarecord search I performed a couple of weeks ago on a MassLNC test VM: /pastebin. com/7HU2nacA

The log from a metarecord search I performed today on the NOBLE training server: /pastebin. com/Y0fhuBp5
