I have a theory. Totally untested but, could it be:

Where $args->{from_metarecord} = $rec_id; is set to a bre.id because open-ils.search.biblio.multiclass.query replaces the ID number with bre.id instead of metabib.metarecord.id because only one result?

I am not certain of any of those assumptions. Just a theory.
