With Kyle's help on the installer, I believe both code branches are ready for final review, testing, and sign-off. Adding pullrequest.

The EG code also has a number of UI improvements for those not using Hatch. For example, it better clarifies in some cases (e.g. print config) where Hatch is required and whether it's connected.

After this round of code is solidified, we can discuss packaging the extension for browser deployment w/o requiring dev tools.
