Other than the class-name changes, we've run this in production for a few months now, and it seems to work as intended. Pushed to master and rel_3_1. Thanks, all!

P.S. Looking at this fresh again, I am wondering a bit about the "rowClass" name and structure, and if we should clean that up a bit more before spreading to other grids. That's just inner workings, though; I will make another bug for those thoughts.
