When creating manual order, a new tab is created with each title added. A new tab should not open under this circumstance.

For each title you add to the PO, another tab opens . You end up with lots of tabs across the top of your screen which is confusing. I keep stopping to close them as I go along but that really slows me down. It would also be very helpful if it would remember the PO I currently have open and just automatically add the next title without my having to click on View/Place orders, Add to PO, and enter the PO number every time. Once I search for the next title, I'd like to just click one button that will add it to the current PO. I'm never going to be working on more than one PO at a time, so why have to go through all those clicks to add the next title? When you're building a long order, all of this is very time consuming.

Confirmed in 3.3.3. Would be great to have it add to the last PO. Also would be nice to add all items to a PO from the item status view or from a bucket/basket.

Agreed that it would be super useful for it to remember the last PO and Selection List you've chosen. Also, I added a bug about adding to PO/Selection lists from record buckets here https://bugs.launchpad.net/evergreen/+bug/1874460

3.7 with the new staff catalogue View/Place Order opens in the same tab unless you right-click to open in a new tab
