Comment 25 for bug 1438136

I've (not-force) pushed another commit to protect PG 9.1 and before from the new stats probe. The query will die on older versions, and there's no need to clutter the logs with that mess. We assume that all attributes are common (foregoing the rare-attribute optimization) on older PGs.
