Bug Description
Evergreen version 2.5
For Serials that do not contain holdings (such as when a library receives serials without creating barcodes and call numbers), this can leave an empty bibliographic record. These records are not viewable in the patron OPAC. Some libraries have found different workarounds, such as creating un-holdable “fake” holdings, to expose the record in the OPAC. There may also be a few workarounds with Record Source options upon upload (I’m not sure). However, it would be nice for serials librarians to have a more intuitive, streamlined way to expose such serials to the patron OPAC.
Thank you!
