Dan Pearl has done some testing for us and here are his results:
Dan performed a short script of some typical operations on the client with XULrunner 3.6.25, 12.0, and 14.0.1. The results suggest:
· 3.6.25 and 12.0 curves of memory usage closely track each other with a constant offset.
· 14.0.1 results sort of track the usage of the others, but as the tasks are done, the offset increases indicating a potential memory mis-management situation in 14.0.1.
Dan did not test 15+, as anecdotes suggest that they perform even worse than 14.0.1.
