Comment 28 for bug 1086458

I'm able to duplicate Galen's findings with his branch. My first attempt a shotgun approach using what I posted earlier did not help. There's still some sort of leak with the patron search sequence, but Galen's patch really improves things. I can iterate over a similar test (involving 17 patron tabs) and gain about 10-20 mb's each time after all tabs are closed and things settle down.
