Are you sure this is fixed, i'm encountering similar issue almost every day on 0.3.1 Freya. When i plug my laptop via display port and reduction to HDMI HUB and then switch hub to display output from laptop, display configuration is set do default, so external display is on right side and default display i set to the laptop.
