In reply to comment#11 - su pam support (which is added by downstream patch) changed quite a lot recently - we merged SUSE and RedHat pam support patch to consolidate these two distributions. However, there was one change in pam between F15 and F16 - trying to support ecryptfs mount of "Private" - #722323 . But even that change was not sufficient to make it working and probably was not correct.
Anyway, adding Tomas Mraz to CC as he is more experienced with pam.
