Comment 2 for bug 482509

Hi,

I have the same problem. I did some manual integrity checks and it does not hang every time. But when it does, the progress bar stops at first -> the mouse is still movable. After few seconds the whole system freezes. I'm using Kubuntu 9.10 i386 with nVidia Geforce 4 Ti 4200 AGP 8x. The installed drivers are 96.43.13-0ubuntu6 from the repository.
