Why is this bug considered "Wishlist" only? Obviously, plain ext3/ext4 are in this respect incompatible with ecryptfs encrypted file systems, so IMHO this is not "Wishlist" but "Importance: high" (unless you think that having no file system incompatibilities is some sort of luxury).
