Bug Description

On both of my Ubuntu boxes (maverick + lucid), drizzleslap test either fails with timeout or takes like 10 minutes to run:
[ pass ] 579689 normal run tmes are like 50k ms

Can provide further information on my system if needed.

Perhaps related to *not* having lib-aio-dev? Just spitballing.

I highly doubt it is to do with not having AIO. Without AIO behaviour is as it has always been. AIO will only work with Linux, an AIO compatible filesystem and O_DIRECT enabled in InnoDB, in the dtr drizzleslap tests I've done it makes no performance difference having it on/off.
