From what I've seen in the changes for 1660.1.3, it doesn't seem like it is an obvious change (but my C++ leaves something to be desired).
The bulk of the changes are moving from the use of table to getTable().
My thinking is that this somehow introduced a more subtle change. It should also be noted that I'm not seeing this crash at all on my Mac (10.5.8), using macports' boost
I use: LDFLAGS=-L/opt/local/lib ./configure --with-libprotobuf-prefix=/opt/local \
--with-libpcre-prefix=/opt/local --with-libevent-prefix=/opt/local
Configured with the following tools:
* libtoolize (GNU libtool) 2.2.10
* aclocal (GNU automake) 1.11.1
