I came to this bug report through its duplicates. When opening a new application Compiz minimize animations will minimize to the mouse cursor instead of their location on docky. This is pretty consistent for newly opened terminal windows, but after some time the seem to behave properly. This doesn't happen with any other panel or dock on my system.
