Quick way to reproduce is to create a .desktop file for a terminal app. ie: abcde (a better cd encoder)
On Ubuntu: sudo gedit /usr/share/applications/abcde.desktop
Paste in: [Desktop Entry] Version=1.0 Type=Application Name=ABCDE GenericName=A Better CD Encoder Comment=Convert Audio CDs To Music Files Exec=abcde TryExec=abcde Icon=media-optical Terminal=true Categories=Application;AudioVideo; Type=Application StartupNotify=true
/Should/ launch fine from the apps menu (make sure to have a CD in) but when placed in Docky it does not launch.
Again, reinstalled my .deb from Oct, 4th and works as expected.
