To make Compton autostart upon LXDE login – create a .desktop file in your ~/.config/autostart directory (create one if not available) and copy paste the following inside it:

[Desktop Entry]
Type=Application
Exec=/usr/bin/compton

Enjoy new compositing capabilities :)
