2011-05-11 18:12:06 penalvch description Binary package hint: libreoffice After using LibreOffice for a while, most users end up with different placement for its toolbars. View > Toolbars > Reset would imply such menu option resets the toolbars placement and customization, but it's always greyed out - I tried this only in Writer and Impress. As a workaround, going to Tools > Customize > Toolbars > Reset has the intended effect. ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 11.04 Package: libreoffice (not installed) ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.38-8.42-generic 2.6.38.2 Uname: Linux 2.6.38-8-generic x86_64 Architecture: amd64 Date: Tue Apr 26 18:49:14 2011 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 11.04 "Natty Narwhal" - Alpha amd64 (20110315) ProcEnviron: LANGUAGE=en_US:en LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: libreoffice UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) Binary package hint: libreoffice 1) lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 11.04 Release: 11.04 2) apt-cache policy libreoffice-writer libreoffice-writer: Installed: 1:3.3.2-1ubuntu5 Candidate: 1:3.3.2-1ubuntu5 Version table: *** 1:3.3.2-1ubuntu5 0 500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ natty-proposed/main i386 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 1:3.3.2-1ubuntu4 0 500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ natty/main i386 Packages 3) What is expected to happen in LibreOffice Writer via the Terminal: lowriter -nologo click View -> Toolbars (notice Reset is greyed out) -> check Drawing -> View -> Toolbars and Reset should be active. 4) What happens instead is Reset is greyed out.
