Bug Description
Binary package hint: openoffice.org
OpenOffice.org 3.1 in Karmic seems to be noticably slower than OpenOffice.org 3.0. My suspicion is that this is because of the new anti-aliased rendering. Some examples of how it is slow:
* Moving text boxes around is laggy.
* Re-arranging slide order is terribly slow and after I had moved the slide to its new location I waited about 60 seconds for it to finally land.
I tested the OpenOffice.org 3.1 in Jaunty with similar problems.
Not reproducible in:

This is definitely an Anti-Aliasing problem - I switched it off and now Impress is noticeably faster and acceptable to use.
