Sorry for kicking this thread with that previous comment, but in my opinion it's ridiculous there's still no working copy/paste function in Linux, after all those years. In my opinion it's way more important to have a working copy/paste function, instead of (for instance) some new way to notificate users. The current notifications already work, copy/paste doesn't work like it has to work. Let's first fix all of those bugs, instead of adding new features and improving thing that already work without problems.
