Comment 2 for bug 391796

It seems that it's a relatively simple fix, io just removed the file /var/lib/dpkg/info/libxcb-shape0.list and then you can force it to reinstall with apt-get --reinstall install libxcb-shape0

This should really be fixed as I bought this netbook for my sister as an xmas present and the fact it was broken from start is a pretty big problem IMO.
