I can reproduce the problem any time I want (ie I'm desperately trying to do a backup).
I am using an SMB sharing on a box (something my internet provider gave me). I'd like to understand and help you understand what's going on, but I cannot find any log. Where could I look for it?
No duplicity processes are running once it fails.
My system is Ubuntu 12.10
