DD does not work well with part time mounted places like truecrypt volumes

Bug Description

DD gives an "no access" error when tryin to write the scheduled backup to a not mounted truecrypt volume, like
"/media/truecrypt1/backup_DD"

Please make it detect that all folders under "/media" are removable like normal external harddiscs. DD should handle this more gently, maybe give us some time to plugin and mount the drive manually.

Can you explain a little bit about truecrypt volumes? When/how are they mounted? What do they look like to the system (are they fuse...)?

Truecrypt Volumes are files or whole partitions. They can be on external harddiscs or just your internal drive. This does not matter.

To mount these files/partitions at first Truecrypt is started with root permissions. Then you have to select that file/partition in Truecrypt and enter a password. If that password was correct Truecrypt mounts the partition at /media/truecrypt[1-100].
The number can be choosen freely and therefore should not be changing.

I told DD to use /media/truecrypt10 as my backupdestination. Because of this i have to mount my external drive manually at position "10" each time DD reminds me of a backup (with the error popup cause destination folder is missing) and then restart the DD manually.

Thank you for your engagement!

Sorry for noise.

The mounted partition/file looks like a normal folder to the system.

E.g. can be umounted with "sudo umount /media/truecrypt10"
