i think your configure may be have some error.
you just need to remove vesafb from blacklist.
you can you in blacklist-framebuffer , they say framebuffer driver is poorly
supported.
some add blacklist to make it no start when system startup.
i think you may need to just comment blacklist vesafb for a test.

Driver is still a hard thing to Linux. we need to take time to learn write
it and contribute .
