I commented out cryptswap1 in crypttab and the problem corrected itself. I am running ecryptfs-utils 106-0ubuntu1 in Ubuntu MATE 15.04 Beta 2 released what yesterday, and it doesn't appear to be cleaning up after cryptswap.
