Dear Maintainer,

While sponsoring a recent fix in lua-lpeg for Ubuntu.

I have notice that the current package of lua-lpeg is using a deprecated debhelper compat version.
v7 has been released 11 years ago.

This mode is deprecated.

Might be a good idea to run a lintian test against it and modernize the
debian packaging.
